The Process:
The Second Wind Air Purifier, with it's completely unique process, combines two proven, time-tested technologies. First, ultra-violet, anti-germicidal light, which has been used successfully since 1936 in controlling airborne living organisms, is introduced. Second, activated oxygen atoms are created which cannot exist on their own. Their sole purpose, during their 10-20 minute existence, is to combine with airborne impurities. The resulting activated atoms attach themselves to the contaminate and change either the molecular structure, if the contaminate is a gas, or by oxidation, if the contaminate is a particle.

The Proof:
The EPA tells us that the air inside your home can be up to 40 times more polluted than the outdoor environment. To test the effectiveness of the Second Wind Air Purifier in eliminating airborne contaminates in an enclosed environment, petri dishes were placed in a portable classroom and left uncovered to accumulate any airborne contaminates.
